I've known Sherri since high school and both of my kids went to the Berry Patch for their entire preschool experience. I can't imagine a better educational and developmental start for my kids. My kids are in 3rd and 6th grade now and both are in San Juan's Rapid Learner program. Sherri's approach with structured days, strong educational base, hands-on learning and field trips gave my children a rich and solid foundation for their education. She also has so much kindness and love for the kids. It shows in how she treats them and what she models to them. Additionally, she is always open to feedback and very approachable for parents to discuss anything with her.

What a wonderful experience Berry Patch was for my son...and our family! Sherri is truly an educator and more -she is a wonderful role model and nurturer. My son was ready for Kindergarten in all aspects. The summer program provided the added bonus of excellent soccer training -which showed up big time his first year in soccer! The Berry Patch way is filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and fun in learning. My only regret is that my son couldn't stay there longer!

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed one preschool year at the Berry Patch.  Sherri was always enthusiastic about each and every day. She would greet us each morning with a contagious smile. I often heard, "I can't wait to show the kids what we're doing this month! They are going to have so much fun!" Each month is a full emersion experience.  It's hands on, educational, child centered fun.  I don't know of one school in this area that I would have chosen above the Berry Patch and after experiencing it, I wished I had sent my older son there, too.  My daughter says, "Miss Sherri Berry is the nicest teacher I have ever had! There's just too much I love about her I can't say all of it!"

I am a mother of 4 from NY now living in El Dorado Hills. I am away from family which, up until 6 years ago, were the only people I trusted to watch my kids. Ms Sherri is just like leaving your kids with family. You can trust her to show your child love, compassion, humor and the values you strive to show your child at home. I would recommend THE BERRY PATCH to any mom looking to have nurturing partners in teaching their child their abc's, 123's plus so much more!!!  I brought my son to THE BERRY PATCH because I wanted him to socialize with kids his age as well as to prep him for kindergarten. I didn't want him to be the unruly boy in class. He has learned more than I could have ever imagined. Ms. Sherri has just as much fun with the daily activities as the kids do. Ms Sherri doesn't do anything half-way. Whatever the lesson of the week is, the kids are 100% involved and enthusiastic. The rates are unbelievably fair, the hours are great/flexible & there is a park literally 1 house away from the preschool. My son loved going to school. He went 3x a week and he'd ask to go on his days off so often that I signed him up for an additional day this last year. After almost 3 years at THE BERRY PATCH, I am excited for my son to go to kindergarten because he's very well prepared but I'm also sad he won't see Ms Sherri's smiling face every morning.

If you  are looking for a preschool to give your child the ultimate pre-K experience then you need to enroll here at the Berry Patch.  We just finished with our second child at this school and we will miss Ms. Sherri tremendously.  They have prepared both of our kids to move on and did it in a fun way where they wanted to go to pre-school every day.

This school is so much more than just a preschool or day care.  Ms. Sherri has a magical way with kids and makes learning fun and creative.  You will have to see for yourself, but Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, St. Patt's Day, the Olympics, Soccer Cup, --and the list goes on---is every bit magical to her and each child, and everything is about exploring and learning.

You get the total package here,  a tremendously educated, caring, patient, and fun lead in Ms. Sherri. There is a park next door to her and her hours  are flexible,  rates are extremely reasonable.

It seemed like we vetted almost every preschool in Folsom and we take our kids education very serious.  After putting both kids through this program, I know that we made the right decision.  Thank you Ms. Sherri!!   See you in two years for #3.
